WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO CARRY OUR CROSS DAILY?

"Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me." Luke 9:23
As disciples of Christ here are a few things that we can do to take up our cross daily:
Love Others
"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you." John 15:12
We need to love and respect all humans as we were all made in the image of God. No one lesser and no one greater. Showing love to others shows others Jesus in you.
Deny Yourself
We want no part of sin and we are to deny sin so it isn't a part of our daily lives. Rid yourself of greed, envy, selfishness, deceit and malice.
Get closer to God
Pray, read your Bible, study God's Word. Ask questions to those you trust to learn more about God and deepen your relationship with Him.
"Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long." Psalm 25:5
